An unnamed woman who casually strolled onto the tracks as seen in the picture taken by a trainspotter was given a lift when the high speed train that has just left the station stops, the driver gets out of his cabin, exchanges a few words with the woman, then lets the woman get on the train!
British Transport Police said the woman was not in a disturbed state but was believed to have walked off the platform after having difficulty purchasing a ticket.
Who needs to buy a ticket if you can just sweet talk the driver.

How weird. At first I thought the driver was a bit daft for stopping but to be fair, if he was going slow enough to stop, he was probably right to as if he'd left he she may have got squashed by another train.
