The basement in Baker Street, central London, is celebrating 75 years of collecting items mislaid on overground and tube trains, buses, cabs and coaches.
And now they are showcasing the forgotten finds, including a stuffed fox, a puffer fish, a lawnmower, a park bench, WWII gas masks and even a home vasectomy kit.
What is the strangest thing you have ever lost?

The strangest thing I've ever lost on the tube? It would have to be "good fortune", ever since I was cursed by a crazy tramp sitting opposite me throwing stones at my feet while muttering insane chants to himself and giving me the evil eye. Since then, I've had terrible luck, but its' not too bad because I have good karma. Still sucks though. I need an anti-curse, big time. Damn tramps.

Wonder if anyone will now claim what's on display? Also how do you go about proving that the home vasectomy kit is yours?

A park bench? Wow, never wold have thought that was possible.
I have been fortunate enough not to loose anything on the tube -- I always have my backpck literally everywhere I go, and just put everything in it; never carry anything in my hands.
They should put some fo that stuff on sale -- i think the gas masks would be great for the upcoming Halloween celebrations.
