A man from Louisiana pleaded guilty on Monday to charges of drug possession after admitting he swapped the narcotic for a talkative blue and white macaw.
Bubba the parrot had been stolen from his owners and police found him at Marcus Paul's house in a "make-shift" cage.
Bubba, who has a penchant for coca cola, has now been returned to his home with a wider vocabulary. Apparently he's picked up 'drug' lingo from his time spent with the criminal underworld.
I'd love to hear that. And what even qualifies as drug lingo?
