According to the Metro, the drink is made up of rice wine, jack fruit and a tarantula, which is sometimes added live to the mix. The photographer from the story interviewed a Cambodian tuk tuk driver enjoying the drink, who said he carries out spider hunting tours of the areas where the ingredients are found.
