A two-year study by Purdue University rodentologist Robert Corrigan confirms that rats by the thousands have infested New York City's subway system. The culprit? Their fellow New Yorkers keep leaving garbage around for the little varmints to feast on. That's why Mayor Michael Bloomberg is taking the fight to, er, under the streets!
