Libertarians compare global warming to pogs

This guy thinks global warming is just a trend and doesn't feel it's anything to worry about. I kinda liked the idea of Libertarians until I read this. I understand he's basically saying "Don't regulate it," but I don't like his tone.

    • Ok ok, I am a Libertarian and at the same time am very concerned with the enviorment. I think it was wrong of the writer of the artical to say that all enviormentalists were just trendy kids trying to be cool (some are but not all, not even most). But I do like what he said about Goverment regulation and Economic regulation. I am worried about the enviorment, but I don't want the goverment to force other people to share that worry. I think if the people really want enviormental change they should try to bring it about themselves but putting pressure on enviormentally distructive companies to change there ways but Boycotts and protests, not by the goverment telling them they have to. In a Free Market econmy this method works well but since we don't have a totally free market people see little success in these attempts. If the people want enviormental change then the people should make it not the goverment, it's the only way to protect the enviorment and yet not hinder our Liberty
