Diminishing Habitat

Jason_Boone
As Florida's population grows, so does the use of it's natural resources. With expanding development, can humans and nature continue to co-exist?

    • What? There are places in Florida not yet overrun by over-development??? I live here and I didn't know that! Time to pack and move further North (with the rest of the recent population flight from S. Florida).

    • The pod addresses the macro issue of diminishing habitat by showcasing the community responses to the changing habitat. The pod is successful in personalizing the story. The use of voice-over provides an authoritative tone and so it impresses your disapproving opinion on the subject matter. However, I can't help but truly wonder about the benefits of expanding development. It would be great if the pod could have shown a little more of that. I want to hear the other side of the story.

    • Wow! I feel the crowding! What an interesting comparison between the crowded cities and this pristine gem - beautifully shot, might I add! It was great to meet some of the locals and hear their concerns first hand. Here?s to hoping the lake remains a pure and natural habitat in the face of Florida?s crushing water needs.
