To me, this story inspires hope for the future. I think it would be interesting to find out what the economic nuts and bolts for these projects are. Are they actually economically profitable for the town, or just good press?

Blast from the past. I'm not sure who owns the livestock houses/ranches; that along with the owners of the corn farms would have a major impact on this towns economy.

Let's keep our fingers crossed, hopefully this works out well for Reynolds, and ideas like these will be implemented on a global scale.
Great Pod! Thanks for showing us that things are really getting started, and thanks to Reynolds!

Great Pod!! It will be really interesting to see how all of these ideas play out. Any town that can turn their garbage and pig poo into electricity and heat is taking huge steps in the right direction for both the environment and the economy.

With oil prices soaring to $100 a barrel, living in BioTown might become a necessity.
