    • Thanks for your comment on my hang glider POD, I will surely be making a follow up POD, I was not experienced enough to have any extras on my glider then. The follow up will definately have a POV camera. Shola

    • We enjoyed your coverage of a storyline heralding the use of alternative fuels: effective use of multiple screens / solid editing / impressive artwork / GL.
We just attempted our first attempt at a spec ad. If you have a moment, check it out: link

    • That is so so so very cool. That boat looks so awesome I feel like Batman should be in it.

The one question I had was, why didn't the other people who tried to beat the record finish?

I've got a pod as well, but it's not as cool as this. It's about a band and it's called Eats Shoots and Plays Music.

    • So glad to see this find its way to the top 5. One of the most interesting pods I've seen in a long time. Wish I could give it a second GL.

Can't wait to see it get to TV.

    • Assuming this boat beats the record it will do worlds of good for the biofuels industry. Little things like this go along way in combating the notion that biofuels don't really work and is just hippy talk, etc. Same thing should happen with an electric car winning a car race, which could easily happen.

    • The story is interesting in so many ways. The pod keeps you locked in from beginning to end. I love the double shots. I love the boat, of course. I love the message behind the boat and the pod. I'm impressed by the editting . I want to see more.. guess that means it's great. Definitely deserves to be on tv. GL
I'd love to get your thoughts on my two pods if you got the time. Thanks

    • Thanks to everyone for all your great comments and greenlights, also thanks to the staff for choosing us as the "Staff pick". About doing a follow up of the race we haven't decided yet, but it would be a good idea to do it. TJ Walkup, about going to a trip with the earthrace team go to www.earthrace.net and there you will find the info and contact information. We had lots of fun while doing this pod and we are so glad that the community has found it interesting and fun. Thanks again.

    • awesome ride and very well done! instead of bio-diesel these folks should look into hydrogen combustion. with an onboard desal/electrolyser, it could be travelng while creating it's own fuel. just a thought! my GL!

    • GL from me. I love your double camera bits while speaking with the primary role. The map with the route was well done and an added graphic. I was keen with your colours, music interwoven, and classy film shots. Well done. One concept that I enjoyed most, was that you've left me wanting more. Now, I want to know how this all turns out, and I'd like to know how the travel goes. Are you planning to follow ? Sweet. I'm supportive of this rad effort. Please take a moment to give your feedback to my recent re-upload of The Voice of The Murmurs. I'm trying to speak for those who cannot among these children I work with. Cheers. Keep speaking up~ Danielmklopp~

    • Eleni, regarding your question, I'm not sure that we asked them about that (marine life) directly, but one thing that has got to help on that matter: because of the design of the boat, most parts of it are barely underwater. I believe it goes between 1 and 3 feet underwater...just barely skimming the surface.

They also mentioned something interesting to us: if for some reason this biodiesel were to get into the water, the animals can actually feed off of it. Compare that to spilling typical fuel in the water and what devastation that can cause.

    • GL no doubt! fantastic piece. i especially enjoyed the last comment on how racing is a means to raising awareness for the cause. also liked the two camera action.

question: does racing at those speeds damage marine life? you hear this about jetskis (damaging e.g. sea turtles) but have heard conflicting reports. This guy is obviously clued on about these issues, was wondering if he talked about that at all. Eleni

    • Innovative piece. Innovative boat. I loved your discussion of the materials that made the boat and bio-diesel.
A hemp floor and 4 gallons of fuel from people's fat. I love it.

You get my vote and hope this goes straight to TV. This is the kind of piece that should.
Thank you for bringing this to the table.

I'd like your take on my pod "small town climate change. Please click on my head and let me know what you think.

      Thanks.
