Big Coal Slimes Kansas Governor

Despicable and desperate, and is a response that absolutely depicts the politics of fear and playing on emotions over reason described in Al Gore's The Assault On Reason.

    • WOW! Definately kudos to Governor Sebillius.

I am always amazed at what lengths some people will go for money. For those that put out this ad, making money is the most important thing in the world for them, MONEY. What am I missing?

It's sad so many people in our society have drifted so far away from the rest of us. Their blind pursuit of ever more money is a poor substitute for fellow humans. How did they get so detached from what matters?

My first entry on this. Kudos to Governor Sebilius and those standing their ground. The question now is, will we as a whole? As Mr. Gore stated just recently, he wondered why young people weren't standing in rings around coal fired plants protesting their construction. That didn't get a very animated or serious response on blogs regarding that that I can recall, so I wonder just how many here would actually lay down in front of a bulldozer to protest the construction of a coal fired power plant and their despicable fear mongering tactics. And yes, I would.
