Politically Incorrect Truths About Human Nature

The way we behave is often outside the realm of explanation. What's more, our common behaviours often fall outside of the realm of political correctness too. Here's an interesting article that tries to explain with scientific evidence why we behave the way we do. Specifically why:
1. Men like blond bombshells (and women want to look like them)
2. Humans are naturally polygamous
3. Most women benefit from polygyny, while most men benefit from monogamy
4. Most suicide bombers are Muslim
5. Having sons reduces the likelihood of divorce
6. Beautiful people have more daughters
7. What Bill Gates and Paul McCartney have in common with criminals
8. The midlife crisis is a myth—sort of
9. It's natural for politicians to risk everything for an affair (but only if they're male)
10. Men sexually harass women because they are not sexist

Do you agree??

    • mattbraun, I think you're wrong - beautiful people don't have more sex than the non-beautiful people. They often have less sex as they are distrustful of those wooing them - they have that unenviable problem of "does he/she love me for who I really am, or is he/she just after a trophy", and frigidity ofttimes accompanies beauty, especially in the highly self-centered and self-worshippers beauties.

    • I disagree with the part about blue eyes - people with blue eyes are a small minority of humans. I reckon there are no more people with blue eyes in the world than there are homosexuals, possibly even less. In some cultures, people with blue eyes are regarded with fear and are avoided, the belief being that blue eyes somehow connects a person with the devil or demons.

I also disagree with polygyny being an advantage to women - I rather like the idea of polyandry, myself. Imagine, eight husbands (one for each day of the week and two on Sundays) bringing in eight salaries and never being too tired... ;)
