Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary / New Mexico

bsundancer
Have you ever wanted to have an up close encounter with a wolf? Leyton Cougar takes you inside his sanctuary for captive bread wolves in north western New Mexico to show you the plight of the modern day wolves and invites you to visit and participate in their effort to care for these beautiful wild animals.

With no help from the government, they raise all their financial support though donations from caring people like you. Check out their web page and find out more about this project:

    • Very informational video! I've been to the park 3 times and have been a member for going on 10 years now. I will definitely add your link to my myspace page and invite my friends/family to view the website and videos. Hopefully they will feel encouraged to become a member! Thanks for all you do for our howling friends.

    • Great video! Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is providing a much-needed home - visitors are welcome. If you ever meet Raven, it may change your life the way it did mine. As we work to get wolves back into the wild in southern New Mexico, we must also support this wonderful sanctuary for those many wolves that need to be rescued.

    • The film is well done and very educational. I have been to this sanctuary and several others. This is my favorite. The animals needs are top priority. The staff is great.

    • Very important, necessary education about a very misunderstood animal. After a long history of human persecution and misjudgement, wolves deserve our listening ear and understanding hearts.

    • Great job Ben, It is great to bring to light the people who are giving back to the earth. This sanctuary might otherwise go unnoticed. Good music, good editing and a nice even flow through your documentary.

    • The reintroduction of the Gray Wolf in Yellowstone has been a great success and this film short provided great info on what is happening to this species as well as other non-domesticated animals. Leyton Cougar is truely a cat, between the 2 at my school I'd rather have been the wolf! No slight to Mr. Cougar. Good Job Ben!

    • At a time when most video is self-indulgent, this is an excellent example of very good technique coupled with very good topic. Looking forward to more.
