MP says Airport Plans Are "Absolute Betrayal"

Labour backbenchers, Conservatives and environmentalists have come together in rare agreement over Heathrow's plans to build another runway and a 6th terminal. Friends of the Earth said the plans would threaten the UK's ability to meet its carbon dioxide emission targets. This makes Gordon's monday night speech, calling for 80% emmission cuts, to be a bit of a farce.
