Experiments have shown that regular exercise can help people suffering from depression, specifically linking the increased levels of certain chemicals in the brain with improved moods. The natural "high" produced by exercise could one day be available in a pill that targets a gene in our brains.
WHAT? I think this is just setting up people for more laziness and is not actually going to help depression in any way. Exercise is good for you. And if it makes you feel better, then that's even more reason to do it. Why do we need a pill that will make us feel the same? So we can sit around all day eating biscuits and getting fat? That'll do wonders for depression. Seriously, if you're feeling down, get off your bum and do some exercise. Don't just take more pills.

Drugs are bad. You can not replicate the collective experience of being outside biking, jogging, walking and so forth with a pill.
Only a housebound person who it's been way too long since they went outside could possibly be fooled by such a stupid claim and a pill.

Just make sure you don't take it too far... Like a drug that gives you a (post-workout) high, exercise too can be addicting. And addiction, in almost all it's forms, is no good.
