The add played just fine, but "This video is no longer available" came up after the add. Why should we bother to watch these pods and give our input, if they can just be deleted?

Who deleted this and why? What's going on Current?

There need to be more reality clips like these rather than the blind teachings people say 'drugs are bad don't do them' these give you a reason.

What a strong woman. It made me feel sad when some people commented that it was the user's choice. So many people are lonely and sad, or like you, exposed to the drug as a child. Kudos to you for surviving and sending out such a strong message of compassion. To care for the down and out peopl respecte is true love. This drug is robbing us of a lot of beautiful young people. I know all to well this story. Some people who have never done meth or who have been around it can understand the need. I have been clean and sober for almost 5 years now. I was born into a family that was consumed by this drug. I watched my dad, aunt uncle mom and so on not only use meth with needles but saw them make it. There are so many kids born into this crap is it any wonder there is such an epidemic? I can't describe the hell your life is taken into because of this crap. Do not call them dumb and shun them, they all want help even if they do not realize it. I got high for the 1st time when I was 12 with my dad. My freaking dad ok? i know so many people who cannot pull away from it. I am one of 6% of users who actually quit and stay off of it, but I relapsed several times. In the end, I was just like my dad, and aunt and uncle. I was stuck on the needle or better known to junkies as the "rig". There is no greater addiction than a rig. It is a completely different high than smoking or snorting or hotrailing. It is so much harder to chase this demon away. I was on that fine line between death and life. And the worse part is I had been chasing death for years. I wanted to die. What changed? I'm not sure, i just knew i had to get out. I had to stop the circle somehow. even if i was the only one who would. I watched my dad shoot a "bump" or in lamens terms a bunch of freakin dope into a major vein in the side of his neck. 2 years ago a tumor grew in that very spot and grew to the point it cut off his airway in the middle of the and he died. I had realized by this time something had to give. I had used rigs so long that it would take 2 hours sometimes to find a vein that wouldn't collapse on me. To this day if I have to have blood drawn it takes atleast an hour for a nurse to get a vein that won't collapse. I have had pnuemonia atleast 2 times every year, i have a ton of trouble with my teeth, and my body feels like it's 80 but i am 25. This stuff hurts you in more ways than you can imagine. But for someone like me who really different have a leg to stand on in the beginning I am terrific. I just bought a house, a new car, I have a job, and a husband who knows all about my past and still loves me, my mom is cleaned up too, i can pay my bills, and i am happy. This is such victory for me to actually now know what is like to feel alive and what it's like to have a life. I am so lucky to be one of the few who has been able to clean up. There are so many out there who may never life again.
To those who would call them dumb for trying it, they may have made a dumb choice, but they are not dumb. There is another reason for them to try it. Maybe they were like me and know nothing else, maybe things are so bad they are desperate to feel happy just for awhile, help them!!!!

I caught Iowa Meth Mom the other night... good to see a follow up as such... though both were hard/ disturbing/ intense to watch. It's the user's choice... and that freedom of choice is something I support 100% no matter how we, in the lives we live, judge otherwise.

I have worked with alot of drug addicts over the past few years and the conclusion i have come up with is natures way of "survival of the fittest." I am empathetic, yet I am a strong believer in mother nature and she can be cruel.

this drug is so common here and all over America. Imagine us fighting to save the middle east and we see so many of our own young American youth messed up. I think most people who just dabble in drugs who try this and that, will probably not be sucked into or attracted to meth. But when they are in a drug lifestyle and have tryed everything and still walked away with little or no consequences and think they can walk away from meth will be sadly mistaken. You cant trust someone on meth because they cant even trust themselves because they are no longer in control of themselves.

Man I could not fathom the amount of strength it must take for someone to stop using a drug thats as powerful as meth, but what I will never understand is what would make someone attracted to it to begin with.

though the consequence was nearly fatal I just dont understand the desire to push the body beyond limits with chemical , was the desired effect reached in the end ??????

I belive that humans are so powerful they can overcome adiction, and still do lots of drugs. I havnt dont meth yet but Ive tried just about errthing else. Drugs can consume you and ruin your life, which most people know. But most people dont know that with practiced personal self control even drugs like meth cant take you over....

If you are using meth you SHOULD NOT have kids!

Give your kid away and deal with yourself first.
Do not let your kid to suffer only because he/she was so unfortunate to have you as a .... whatever it is - it is not a parent nor mother....

its hard to understand how people get so wrapped up in a drug and let thier lives spiral out of control ...i can walk away ive tried almost everything once and im a hard working progressive citizen who only smokes a lil grass . I think this shows it Must be a disease!

I think people underestimate the addictive power of meth and how hard it is to break that cycle. Having personally seen friends destroy their lifes because of meth I feel very sorry for her and the trap shes in.

Wehn i watched this it made me think of my family. All of my family are in to drugs one is due to a illness but he really is out of it most the time. Im glad to be drug free. I hate to watch my little brother and mother do drugs most of the time I leave the room. I hope she gets better. I know meth is a bad drug. This drug has killed a lot of people Amber I am praying for you.

I am so tired of these twacked out narcotics addicts trying to talk about how all their drug use started with herb. For one - people like me that NEED medical cannabis get grouped in with the ridiculously stupid behaviors that these drugged out fools commit. Thanks for making it even harder for us to have freedom : /

Plus i can attest - nothing is that addictive. That one try - will not hook you. People know what they're doing - they just want to blame irresponsibility on ANYTHING but themselves. There came a point where they could've said no and stopped but they didn't. Why should that demand pity - the ONLY pity here is for the kids.

The only drugs I feel comfortable using after years of experimentation is marijuana and occasionally LSD. Marijuana has shown that other than inhaling smoke, it's not bad for you. It shouldn't even have the status of a drug. It is a plant. LSD is a little trickier, but from what I understand, pure lysergic acid diethylamide can be harmless in the lowest of dosages and with moderation. (I haven't gone exactly crazy yet. :P)

I feel sympathy for Amber and can understand her story. But, it's up to her to define her life and she solely has the ability to make change. Perhaps she could substitute the meth with marijuana and really try to conquer the addiction, she might be saved yet. I've known coke addicts who beat the addiction by smoking weed instead. Some of them still smoke regularly (and they're much nicer than they used to be). Luck, prayers, etc, etc, to Amber.

i can see if george clooney offered you some meth, but most meth freaks i know, aren't good poster children for it. so i'm wondering, how high do you wanna be for a few minutes, and (with all the info out there how bad it is nowadays) NOT go "um...RUNNNNNN!!!!" when you look around? at least most other drugs you look semi-decent until you start to bottom out.

I do understand drug use is an important issue but it is a personal choice! I am not sure what to make about this. I feel I am being manipulated into the same drug video idea over and over again. Sure life can be thought but it is clear her story has many different sides to it and that is not the focus of this short video. In the other hand I can invite you for a walk into a heavy drug abuse street and the question will remain why will you like to see that street?
