Nasa Probe Appraoches Mercury

For the first time in 30 years, we're taking a peak at Mercury. This weeks visit is part of a larger mission to orbit Mercury in 2011. The spacecraft Messenger must make several loops around the sun to slow itself to the proper orbiting speed. During the approach Messenger will make several passes by Mercury.
