"It's a long way from the first day at the beach. But if it's not the romantic love of Thursday's flowers and chocolates, it's something just as important. So if you were at a Mexican restaurant on Park Avenue on Wednesday, you would have seen a couple in their 30s and a cheerful young woman with a black ski jacket with a fur hood, blue jeans and a gray Puma book bag, sitting together looking like friends or like family - people sharing some kind of bond that really mattered. Which was exactly what they were."
