It does contain herbs and vitamins that help boost the immune system, such as echonasia and vitamin C, but whether it can cure things is questionable. I use it a lot when I am on the road and come in contact with sick people. I believe the placebo effect is largely responsible for my awesome health.

This is the most depressing news I've heard all week. I was feeling so sick yesterday morning after hearing it that I had to pop a few airborne to get back on track. I woke up feeling fine this morning. Guess the placebo effect is stronger than I thought.

Alright sircamels - you're getting an argument from me!
I have used it and I really like it.
A few years ago I began getting sick - just before the end of the semester. If it were not for Airbourne - it would have been impossible to get up, go to class and finish the semester.
There is an unsolicited testimonial. It worked for me - it made all the difference - and I was already sick. I took it to help whatever amount if could, and it did.
So, there!
My guess is that they are settling because their lawyers figure it's the cheapest way out of the fight with pharmaceuticals no doubt behind this attack.
