    • The funny thing is John Coleman only got a degree in journalism, he doesn't even have high scientific credentials. Clever spin by the right side tho.

    • It is clear the Earth is is one of its "warming" phases, but the rate our earth has warmed up is unnaturally drastic. True, maybe we can only slow the warming, but if we can, why shouldn't we?

Personally, I believe equally greater (and possible inter-related) problems lie in the topics of oceanic health, and pollution. Sadly, the oceans are one of the most ignored environments when it comes to environmental news. I have heard (but am unsure about the validity of the claim) that during one year, more money was spent on an American toilet in space than the whole of our deep sea exploration program. Sadly, the oceans are one of the first indicators of the health of the world as a whole and probably the most ignored.

    • When Russia starts drilling oil at the North Pole because the ice cap has shrunk so much, those that have common sense who may not be scientists, can hold on to their sound minds.
