Global Warming Denier Group Set To Recycle Attacks On Al Gore

CEI must be bored. They will once again launch an ad and an attack on Al Gore because it is obvious that with oil breaking a 100 dollars a barrel, those they are spokepeople for are getting nervous that Americans will be demanding other alternate sources. Notice this will also be launched just around the time The Alliance for Climate Protection is set to start their ad blitz.

Of course, this also goes back to the fact that to deny global warming/anthropogenic climate change is also a way to absolve yourself from any responsibility to anything but your own selfish lives. It is truly a shame that these people are so steeped in such partisan political hatred that they cannot even realize that thousands of scientists around the world have evidence to back up that humans are precipitating the warming and other effects we are seeing taking place around the globe.

And again, I have not seen, heard, or read one scientist who corroborates anthropogenic climate change denying that the Earth also goes through cycles. However, the precipitous rise in warming and the pace of it is unmistakable in regards to our contribution to that warming. They would actually then look credible if they even gave a half decent critique that addressed the entire scientific community instead of launching a personal attack on the messenger clearly based on partisan political hatred.

The only thing they will do in this instance is show themselves for the political hacks they are. However, who will speak out against this lame assault? Where are the people in speaking out for their planet against these greedy selfish mouthpieces for the oil industry who wish to keep the status quo?

    • I hope you are all right. All I know is that when people were begging him to 'run' this site and others were swarming with socalled "Gore supporters" who then I guess were feigning support? Where are they now when they are needed to really do the important work? I'm glad at least to see some still here, and to know that many more care about this planet and see the real evil behind this. And you bet I will be continuing to call, e-mail, and speak out about this outrage. These cretins will try to divert the importance and urgency of this crisis to one target and it is sickening and we need to stand up to it.

    • Check out the International Institute of Ecological Agriculture and Gary Blume's new book, Alcohol Can Be a Gas. It's a little pricey, but well worth it if you can afford it (get your library to purchase it). Most all cars right now can run on E-85 without modification, even though they aren't flex-fuel vehicles. They can definitely run on at least E-20 and the governor of Minnesota passed a mandated E-20 minimum for the state. I have a 2003 Prius that I am running totally on E-85. You can also mix 50% biodiesel with 50% alcohol and run a diesel engine. It has to be E-95 or E-100, NOT E-85. He quotes Orrie Swayze as saying that no one he knows that has tried it has had to go below E-40 and that if all the fuel injected cars ran on at least 40% alcohol that we would not need foreign oil. You can just mix it at the pump. You can also convert your gas engine for as little as $50.00. The guy is a genius. Let's attack back and not use their oil! Gary tells you how.

    • I agree with JanforGore. We should be outraged at the lack of direct and sustained verbal, print and video assaults against the parasites who attack Al Gore and the message of global warming.

    • I'm telling ya, JFG, people and corporations go after AL Gore. He's either a love him or hate him kind of guy. I'm on the love side, as I am sure you are. That they will actually go after him and make fun of him just to get people to ignore the climate crisis is just sick. A lot of peole wil be outraged by this but it will have an affect on the global crisis deniers. They'll use it and push it every way they can.
Who is going to speak up for the planet? It will be the grassroots movements for climate protection. It will be individuals like you and me in forums like this that will drive our politicians crazy until they have to act. We will continue the fight in emails, phone calls, letters, petitions and the voting booths. It is a fight we can't afford to lose and, hopefully, enough people will see it that way.
