Imagine the sheets hanging down on top of your guests? Or the cat crushed by the hydraulics. But, still, a fine idea, especially if you tend to make your bed and don't have a cat. I love this - a bed that rises to the ceiling, has built-in lighting, can be lowered to any level. The Murphy bed moves "up" in the world.....

Well yeah, probably not good for earthquake zones or next to train tracks but quite an interesting idea. I can totaly see this being a favorite among the quagmire style playboys who must have every gadget. Does seem an efficient space saver.

I'd be kind of worried about falling out of bed...or some freak electrical surge to activate the hydraulics while I'm sleeping.
