Gator blood may be new source of antibiotics

"New research suggests that alligator blood could serve as the basis for new antibiotics targeting infections caused by ulcers, burns and even drug-resistant 'superbugs.'"

This is good thing for medicine, but could it be bad for alligators?

    • Now they can be used for more than just shiny purses. Honestly though, if they don't overkill I'm fine with using natures resources to heal others.

    • y'all are silly.

healing properties found in nature doesn't mean they use the natural compound in manufacturing said substance.

      all medicines are synthesized.

if this is proved to be effective on humans, i say go for the real thing, though. I dont believe there's any shortage of gators on the planet[could be wrong]....besides,
you don't have to kill them to harvest their blood. kinda like cow's milk...although they're certainly not as friendly as cows. so that logistic would be interesting to solve.

don't you guys kno drinking gators blood/ evolving back to the reptilian body-mind is an old illuminati / royalty trick.
