Bighorns - Big Problems

dgordon
Peninsular Bighorn Sheep our native only to Southern California and down into Baja. A recent move has been passed to reduce the amount of protected land for this majestic creature, failing to see the importance of this animal.

    • Well Done. The park ranger guy was so archetypical. The closeups of the sheep interacting in their native habitat were great. I raise a rare breed of sheep and know how much work it took to get the shots you did and really appreciate it.

My favorite shot was the pan that showed development not just up to the mountains but even in the valley between.

Not critical but I think it could be tightened up a bit as some of the monologue is a bit long in sections. The soundtrack can be pulled back a bit as sometimes it takes away from the voiceover. Good job

      Current should pick it up.

    • Loved the footage. Nicely done as a documentary. I can see the effort and expertise. The pictures of the bighorn are pretty incredible.

    • Well done. Good video and interviews. The interviews describe the plight of the Peninsular Bighorn Sheep very well. The video footage brought the subject alive and put the viewer into the habitat of these majestic and endangered animals. A story that needs to be told.

    • It is interesting. I like it. Looks like it took a long time and a lot of waiting to get the shots of the big horn sheep. Must have been cool to see them close. Keep up the good work and good luck with everything.

    • This is a very important issue- I used to go to Borrego every year and have seen the sheep only once. It is very sad to know that soon no one will ever see these beautiful and unique creatures.

    • Our overtaking of lands and the ill effects it has on indigenous animal habitats is an important story that needs to be told again and again. As they fade, we fade.
      Exceptional pod.

    • There is alot of good information in this pod, I like the B roll as well. Perhaps it would be best to select a few more significant sound bites from the interviews and tighten up the editing. Looks like you spent alot of time looking for those big horn animals and getting good shots of them. Keep it up.
