Would you like to know if you're eating Mad Cow Disease meat?

I sure would! But apparently the Bush government doesn't think that's neccessary. In fact, it went to court to block a meatpacker from testing its own meat to reassure customers!

Did you know that LESS than 1% of all meat is tested for mad cow in the US?

"Larger meatpackers have opposed Creekstone's push to allow wider testing out of fear that consumer pressure would force them to begin testing all animals too. Increased testing would raise the price of meat by a few cents per pound."

    • Another fine example of 'profit' over 'people'. Corporate America does not want our health protected, they want their profit protected.

Looks like this administration does support 'Corporate America', more than 'ordinary Americans'. Sad 'fact' is, we won't find out till long after George W. is out of office, how much damage he has done to our health and the environment. While helping Corporate America steal our future.

Chances are, he could have protected US and chose not to, all for want of a dollar! What people will do for a dollar is amazing.
