An authoritative new study demonstrates that genetically modified crops come very, very short of the yields their makers promised and even guaranteed that they would. This exposes genetic engineering for its imprecisions.

Hopefully, this spells the beginning of the end (may it come hastily) for Monsanto and parallel corporations.

    • Oh, I know all that all too well, observer2121 - I have posted about that in a couple of my blogs a long time ago, and posted the "The World According To Monsanto" video here on Current a while ago - unfortunately, that video has been pulled from video.google.com, but can still be seen on other sites. Other people have also posted that video on Current.

    • Vierotchka, unfortunately the pollen from monsanto crops infects non monsanto crops, these guys are polluting the whole world with their crop strains. These companies are very scary, they actually want to own the genetic material in our crops. If a farmers crops were contaminated by monsanto pollen then the farmer must pay monsanto a royalty even though they didn't buy the seed and didn't even want any product from monsanto. They are evil in my opinion.
