If you’re interested in another way to save on the energy it takes to heat water, use what you’ve already got: ambient air. The AirTap from AIRGENERATE.COM can be added to an existing water heater and is three times more efficient than a typical water heater; AirTap works by pulling in air already in your house. The air moves through the AirTap’s coils, extracts heat giving cool air and heats the water in the tank at 135'F. Saves average 70% energy.
