    • This is so obviously unacceptable it's upsetting. This reflects the overarching issue of China's not-so-subtle willingness to overlook environmental damage and the suffering of its land and citizens for rapid economic growth.

    • this might be slightly off topic but, i live in a city that has produced steel for many year and as a result the river next to collage after it rains has a horrid acrid smell from the 'slag' the waste products of steel production. it is also a tributary further down river to the river i live next to 'the don' derived from Latin as mucky brown. I understand that a steel rolling mill is up river near where i live but steel production in our city greatly ceased in the 1970's.

The company should only refine iron ore with a high metal content so that there is less bi-products.

I Hope there law suit went well and the company is understanding damages it is causing and is greatly scrubbing its waste water for minnerals and pollutants.

      Deathbymilk :-S, peace out.
