    • Ed Begley Jr. drives a new brand on his Green show. It's about time we start getting away from Fossil Fuels.

Hybrids, is just a stop gap effort to keep FFs in our lives. The batttery technology is available, unlike the EV1 that used lead acid batteries, that could have been upgraded to new and larger capacity batteries. It's time to start building our own electrice cars, and screw the oil companies and Auto manufacturers.

    • CarlosIsDown, I would rather drive a hydrogen fuel cell-powered car than it's electric counterpart since it could be powered with renewable resources. If it was cheap enough, I would gladly buy one and build a solar-powered hydrogen station to really help the environment and my wallet.

    • CCcashman, if we change to renewable energy sources. And even if we don't, the carbon foot print of getting energy from a coal plant to power a car is far lesser than having a car have its own little mini power plant.

    • The big problem of electric cars is their "fuel" source. They rely upon the same electricity that comes out of our plug outlets, which in turn comes from coal-fueled power plants. If there was rise in the usage of electric cars in the United States, there would be a connected rise in production in those fossil fuel dependent facilities, which would hasten global warming.

    • I hope this car will arrive soon. At least we will have a choice instead of being held hostage by the bushies and the Arabs and the Jews. I say Jews because of the refineries they own and thier and Bushies threats to blow up Iran to keep the price of oil out of proportion to its real value. I hope other auto manufacturers are watching. Between electric cars, turbines, and solar I hope we can improve our environment and cut deep into oil use and dependency. Now I hope Bushie and his buddies don't sabatoge the company or put it on thier terrorist list. Neither of which would surprise me. I beleive some good will come out of all this evil greed and some people may realize they made poor choices in thier priorities.

    • Heres what happened the last time. People have to demand this type of technology. Its always been here but corporations control supply we control demand. I want hydrogen and solar powered cars. Power from solar could separate molecules in water and release the hydrogen to burn. Solar like battery, hydrogen like fuel. Beware of patent mongering corporations.
