Billy Warsoldier is featured in this ACLU Freedom Files report on prison harassment for his refusal to cut his long hair and his victory in defense of his religious and cultural rights as an American Indian.
Billy Soza Warsoldier has painted the contemporary American Indian experience in images that shatter stereotypes since his teen years as a student at IAIA (Institute of American Indian Art) when Soza created the first seminal Contemporary Indian painting that inspired the work that Fritz Scholder made famous.
