    • This list is idiotic. It could maybe work for a list of things that are possible not the best things to eat, but the most unhealthy? I think not.
Also, olive oil and wheat? Come on now.

Remember when people thought the Atkins diet was actually "healthy" for us?
      Exactly.

    • "Dried Fruit - Fresh fruit is far healthier than dried fruit, as it takes more dried fruit (and calories) to feel full."

Using that moronic logic, I could argue celery is unhealthy because it takes more celery to feel full compared to this or that"

And saying a fruit is "healthier" implies it is healthy and not sick.

    • This list is useless garbage. Everyone knows fast food and chain restaurants are no good and classifying possible allergens as unhealthy is just ridiculous.

    • I'm with AVtime. Baked beans? Beans are extremely healthy and beneficial, they're great protein. But when slathered with salty fatty sauces they're no good.

Just get a different perspective. You KNOW what's good for you. It's instinct. Go with raw foods. You can't go wrong. (unless you're eating meat, obviously.)

    • 'Unhealthy' is an incredibly silly, unscientific term. Follow the jump to see just how vaguely the 'researchers' apply this label to different foods. They don't give any evidence, nor describe what constitutes a food as unhealthy.

Take kecthup, for example. You just can't sell me on the idea that vinegar, tomato paste, and sugar, is really that bad. Especially when they provide no research or assertions for why.

These 'scientists' are probably the same ones who said it's 'unhealthy' for mothers to feed their children breast milk in the 50's. What's 'unhealthy' is just a neurotic trend.

    • But... that's all the good stuff...
Although I thought the chicken at McD's was better for you than the BigMac, I learned something today!

    • Just out of curiosity, what are we supposed to eat? Most health jounals actually list several of these "bad" foods as good foods to eat in small amounts because of their health benifits, such as coffee, chocolate, olive oil and eggs. I think they need to reevaluate the criteria they're using to catagorize these foods and maybe look at portion size.
