I am pretty sure that it is a cam that takes thousands of frames per second (FPS). You should look for the video of a water balloon popping at 500 FPS. Very cool video.

Nice to have it in slow motion...it goes so fast, that damn speed of light thing. There's nothing quite as striking as lightning (ha ha ha). Except for brain synapses.
