Loren Coleman of Cryptomundo writes about the Bigfoot body purported to be discovered in the woods in Northern Georgia. The People who discovered it are holding a press conference in Palo Alto on Friday.

I like to believe in Bigfoot. It is fun. I also love to believe in sea monsters. Also fun.

Could be a hoax, could be a clever viral for some product, could be real.

When I say "could be real" I get excited. This world seems infinitely better when we have real bigfoots and sea monsters. I have never understood those people who insist on killing that kind of harmless hope.

These type of stories can make you feel like there just might be real magic left in the world.

And even if there isn't, it's sure nice to pretend once in a while.

    • The answer is simple...These two georgia boys are very enterprising! All of this publicity is free! Everyone with any kind of an open mind wants to believe that Bigfoot exists. So, these guys are providing fuel for our fire. Why should they show the body or let anyone out of their circle examine the findings? Then their hoax would be discovered. They are already offering guided Bigfoot hunts for $499.00. In the words of PT Barnum; "There is a sucker born every minute!"
