"The public art project TRASH: anycoloryoulike, launched this summer by the artist Adrian Kondratowicz, replaces traditional black trash bags with bright, colorful, biodegradable bags. Kondratowicz hopes that, in addition to making city streets look a little better, piles of flashy pink and white polka-dot garbage bags will get people thinking about how much they throw away."

    • at $10 a bag, this is a more than a *Hefty* price for a trashbag... you can get a box of biodegradable bags at your local Whole Foods for this price.

And I just don't get it... why would you want to wrap your waste in a lovely bag? If you really want people to think about how much they throw away, I would assume that something with more of a evil, ominous facade would preach more successfully to the cause.
