Tired of following the latest from the US Democratic National Convention? Reuters reports on an announcement released by North Korea on the same day which outlines the countries plans in regards to nuclear arms production. Analysts see it as a political bargain chip, an economic nightmare (South risking loss of foreign investment) , and even a sore backlash against the recent visit by Chinese president Hu Jintao, whose talks with South Korean President Lee Myungbak may be indicative of a change in the tide for North Korea's non-existent network of allies. North Korea remains on Americas list of terror supporters, and South Korean Pres Lee was elected as an open supporter of the policy that would encourage the North to give up its arms production.
