....You Are Invited to a Party.......

Current members are always talking about getting together and doing something......
I would like you all to join me in Washington DC......sometime before the election to have a party......
The White House is suppose to be the peoples house....I am hoping we can have it there....
Bring camping gear....we will surround the White House.....only hope a few of us get arrested...
Hope Martin Sheen and Cindy will come.............
please bring your own small George Bush or Dick Cheney straw doll...............
there will be a combination effigy and weenie roast.......lots of music...............
Country Joe and the Fish....Bruce Springsteen...John Fogerty......Jackson Browne.......
It will be the Woodstock of people who care about this great country..............................
Can you imagine looking out your window and seeing thousands of straw dolls burning in effigy........maybe someone can explain what effigy means to George.................................

    • I'm down if I could finance this trip. I wish I had disposable income. I'm committed to school too, but arrangements with teachers can always be made, as far as homework is concerned.
      Keep us posted.
      I wish Current could help organize some busses for us supporters and we could chip in for gas or something, then it would be on. I've never been to D.C., but always have wanted to go.

      Steadward...sorry to hear about the back pain...I have had it and it is something....do not worry about being a Communist or anything else....most of the American people will treat you as you treat them....mirror the situation....there is a small percentage of complete assholes...they stick out like a sore thumb.....I am sure it is true the world over..except they seem to be running our country at the time...having stolen it...and we must get it back....thanks....Johnnie.....

    • It is now 6 great people....47 views....afraid to look at percentages....Frankenstein came to life faster than this...Does anyone know of a good way to get something before the Current staff to see if they will help get more people interested?......I do not.....I do believe this could develop into something positive and beneficial....but it will take a large group of people....I believe that me going to the White House alone and pissing on the fence will do no more than land me in jail........Golden Ruler...Johnnie Hargrave..........

      Incredulous...thanks...I have sent it out to my usual people...not hearing much back....seems like a lot of people are on hiatus or something.....I am trying to figure out a way to get through to the Current staff....with their help this could be a great thing and a great non-violent statement that we have had enough....and you better count our votes for once.....George Bush came to Austin today.....airforce 1...four accompanying jets.....air force 1 helicopter....circus of suburbans....and a cast of thousands....estimated cost several million dollars....blood boiler...Golden Ruler...bent not broken....Johnnie.....

    • The American people have watched as the last two elections were falsified...I do believe that one more would be the proverbial straw....I can not keep from thinking that although there would be people talking about how wrong it is....hardly anyone would actually take a stand...Most people are such watered down versions of their ancestors that the powers that be know they can be pushed around like a shopping cart with a crooked wheel.....it squeaks some but ends up going where you want it to go........What would the people that were at the Boston Tea Party think of the character of present day Americans?.........Golden Ruler...Johnnie Hargrave.......

      PlatoTacius...this idea was born at three this morning...I need help...and lots of it...getting it to take its first step...I hope that someone at Current likes the idea....some great video could come from it...there could be voter registration.....I have always heard how the White House belonged to all of us...I would like to find out if that was just another lie...just kidding.....and I believe I could get Willie Nelson...Neil Young....David Lindley...others to write original songs.....any ideas about how to make this happen would be appreciated...I know that if I looked out my window and saw 100,00 people burning my image in effigy...I might just think I had offended some people......plus all the potato salad you can eat.......Golden Ruler....Johnnie

But I appreciate the reference to the Mayan calendar's suggestion that the world (as we know it) will end, and I share your urge to party before we all go. But, I'm a much better party guest as an educated man, than as a mere party goer. So, I'll stay here in school for now.... I like your sense of humor!
