Airport hostility detector

What if you could absolutely, positively tell when someone was mad or better yet, lying about something? The US Department of Homeland Security has produced a system called Future Attribute Screening Technologies (FAST) that measures facial expressions, pupil dilation, pulse/breathing rates, and skin temperature to identify people with ill-intent. They claim a 79% accuracy rate on hostility and 80% on deception. Not bad. This is really an early step into the creation of robot thought.

    • Uneasy "facial expressions, pupil dilation, pulse/breathing rates, and skin temperature" sound like the symptoms of social anxiety or SOMETHING. When will these creeps look at the bigger picture and combat terrorism through international dialogue and responsible politics?
