$100,000 Challenge to Prove Us Wrong!

Jack Herer has for years now been touting this $100,000 challenge from the back of his famous book, "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", yet no one has apparently risen to the task? Or have they tried and they just simply failed?? If they failed, then why aren't we using hemp to it's fullest potential?? Instead we have banned this completely amazing resource that could potentially become America's new multi-billion dollar crop, giving our economy a needed boost!

THE CHALLENGE: PROVE THEM WRONG!

If all fossil fuels and their derivatives, as well as trees for paper and construction, were banned in order to save the planet, reverse the Greenhouse Effect and stop deforestation; then there is only one known annually renewable natural resource that is capable of providing the overall majority of the world's paper and textiles; meet all of the world's transportation, industrial and home energy needs, while simultaneously reducing pollution, rebuilding the soil and cleaning the atmosphere all at the same time... and that substance is the same one that has done it before . . . CANNABIS HEMP!

    • Did I miss something?? Is Al Gore running for president? Cause I could have swore that it was Obama and McCain... I don't see how you think Gore is going to "ride in and save us" or "consider legalizing pot".

      We need our congressmen and senators to pass the bill, and a president open minded enough to let it pass... that or a veto-proof majority in the house.

      I don't mean to be rude, but Al Gore can't do much to change the laws besides swaying the public opinion. It's our lawmakers in the House that have to get it done! Lets pray they see the financial opportunity as outweighing the political resistance to backpedaling on drug policy. I would think it's becoming more and more obvious that the public is ready!

    • I just hope that when Al Gore rides in to save us from the pickle 8 years of Bush government have put us in, laying a 21st Century infrastructure delivering to us everything green and sustainable, I just hope, Al Gore would consider legalizing pot, and utilizing it to its full potential.

    • If only beneficial info like this was covered by the mainstream press in order to inform & educate everyone of the real benefits hemp offers, without people jumping to unfounded conclusions. The opportunity to grow & harvest this crop will continue to pick up momentum as people are forced to rethink their options & not rely on the gov't for long overdue solutions. Many industrious individuals are constantly working to make the planet more livable with less of a negative impact as the population continues to rise along with all of their needs.

      i agree how do we get this to a lobbyist? When someone figures that out, i will be right there to back them.. i will even do some investigating to find out how..I heard of a man in california he is pretty high up in politics that wants it legalized...i will do investigating and find out who it is...

I highly recommend Jack Herer's "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" if you haven't read it or you get the jitters about marijuana due to "social conditioning and media manipulation". Herer has done a great job, I thank he and others who have brought this detailed information forth.

    • The older I get I just can't realize why it is illegal at all when more people die from drinking and smoking ciggerates. oh that's right capitalism and democracry dosen't really work well together when money rules the world...both money and marijuana are green and burn up when we ignite it...just blaze it
