I have boycotted Coca Cola for many years now precisely because of this. A drop in the ocean, but I encourage others to do the same.

The imperialist machine rolls on...filling the coffures of the mighty and the elite while the innocent are defiled, however, knowledge and awareness are catching up... soon, the mighty will be overcome by the meek...not by violence...but by truth and justice...
The lack of accoutability and the blatant corruption, in the last 8 years, is getting really old, now...everyone is quite fed up with the secret underhanded sheme of things.
It's time for complete transparency in government and in the corporatocracy...coca cola is just one of the many guilty...

Yes, I've read about these criminals killing union organizers in the past.
If it's a huge American company or political force, you can bet your ass it's corrupt.
America puts off the "good guy" facad but is really probably the very worst in terms of overall worldwide damage be it militarily, pollution wise or ethically.

I stopped drinking soda a while ago for my health, but it looks like it's also healthy for the Earth! Ccola plants devastate the areas they produce in, esp. the water.

Primum non nocere. The doctrine of the medical profession. It translates, "First do no Harm", it is a shame large corporations are not required to conform to any moral standards.

...when Coca Cola use to put cocaine in their drink...if they ever stopped....they inadvertently did a large amount of damage to the Kogi Indians of the mountains of Colombia....probably the most spiritually advanced people to ever live on this planet....please take the time to learn more about their struggles and how they were the only ones to hide from the Spaniards 5 hundred years ago.....what is left of them are held prisoner by modern day cocaine traffickers.....the BBC was allowed to do a documentary years ago but not allowed to view anyone past the third level....there are seven levels....Golden Ruler...Will

Coca Cola also built their factory in a little village in India and basically robbed them of their fresh water. The water that they did have would give them rashes when they'd bathe and it goes without saying that they couldn't drink the water. It's pretty horrendous, but the people stood together in solidarity and basically forced Coca Cola out of their village. You gotta be careful what you buy and consume, cause it might be hurting someone out there.

I had heard whispers of some of the allegations against Coca-Cola and their practices previously, and this just reinforced that.
Thanks for the post - the word here certainly needs to be spread! - 3 years ago

If it weren't for Coca Cola, my city would not exist. we got the first Coca Cola bottling contract and that built the city.
It easy to point out all the wrong corporations do, but we forget what kind of good they do.
