So... wait, was that an actual hologram or that Total Immersion technology I just saw the other day?
With total immersion computers place a 3D object in the video, but for instance, Blitzer would not actually be looking at anything. Watch the video to see what I'm talking about... it's not an actual hologram, it just looks like it through the camera.

I don't know now...I do know that a hologram viewing (or whatever it would be called) was planned for release by CNN tonight according to an article I submitted earlier...Kinda hoping it is the real thing.

that's what i was wondering. it didn't appear that the hologram was actually present onstage, and the correspondent mentioned something about the cameras capturing her movements communicating to the cameras in the election room, didn't she? i think it was worse than a gimmick, it was a dishonest gimmick.

That's right. This is nothing new whatsoever. It just happens that CNN was the most audacious in making the claim that it was a "hologram." It's nothing we haven't seen watching Monday night football actually. See that yellow line on the field? Same technology. They should be embarrassed.
