It was only a matter of time before the ports were targeted.
Personally, I think the "hybrid tugboat" is a great idea and it definitely another big step in the right direction.
"Foss Maritime Co. of Seattle, for instance, has developed the Prius of tugboats, which consumes less diesel and generates less pollution by using batteries for all the vessel's low-power needs. Foss calls it the world's first hybrid tug and expects to deliver it to San Pedro harbor early next year."

It's OK Gitsie you don't need to worry about the emissions from marine vessels.
Just like International air travel, they are not counted in national inventories of global greenhouse emissions.
Still going up there, but no one has to say they are responsible for it!! - 3 years ago
