"We are living in exponential times" - an amazing presentation

phillyharper
If you watch one thing on the internet this week, make sure you watch this. It kind of makes you feel like a horse might if he had his blinkers removed having worn them all his life...or something. We've progressed a long way from this "series of tubes" theory I first learned about.

What do you think?

    • thinking back ten years, it is staggering the amount of change that has come about. The world has alternately expanded and shrunk @ the same time. This reminds me of a personal prediction from my life in 1990, that within ten years our society would be a macrocosm of individuals all seperately wired to some kind of network. shapes of things to come....

    • With all that technological advancement, you would think we could win the war on cancer, HIV and other scourges that have been around for decades and more. In any case the video was well done and the track spot on!

    • I hope that all this "progression", we as a human race have accomplished, will result in some kind of solution to some of the big problems we now face. What good is all this if we don't put it to use? I'm down to try ;)

    • What DOES It All Mean? ... wow.

this is reality, and here I am at the computer..

      we are ever evolving..

many advancements have brought new opportunities for human evolution, but may our responsibility to our souls and purpose in life be revered.

    • "A weeks worth of the New York Times contains more information than a person would come across in a lifetime in the 18th century"

      It really boggles the mind.

Saw this video last year but it looked terrible. They gave it a nice polish, and a much better track =)

ironically enough.... Just finished the new Go! team album. hehe!

    • Aren't statistics great?! The length of time people spend working for a company was interesting, as was the number of married couples that met online.
