Scientists extract images directly from brain

Japanese scientists have developed a way to image thoughts using fMRI scans of blood flow in the brain. According to the article, the scientists are giving it about a decade until we have a functional mind-reading technology. Wow. This is definitely one of those experiments where I wish I was in the room when they realized it was working.
