Boars have been menacing the streets of Berlin.
The boars are responsible for traffic disruption, and for creating a menace in people yards. They have also become dangerous sometimes for example a man was killed after being gored to death by a boar. Some pet dogs have even died as a result of challenging a boar to a fight.
The boars are also being hunted by urban hunters, but people sympathetic towards boars are calling them murderers. Sympathizers even have brought food for the boar, which makes things more difficult.

Hunters have shot over 500 boars in urban areas since April, but boar numbers keep rising. Up to 7,000 now live in the city.
Mr. Gericke says he has been feeding boars here every night for 12 years, making him the doyen of Berlin's boar-loving underground. Every two weeks he spends €15, or about $20, of his jobless benefits on a 110-pound sack of corn. "Feeding them corn diversifies their diet," he says.

When did a relative of the Javelina (from South Texas) manage to find it's way to the streets of Berlin. Hopefully they can use them for Boar soup/ meat . But did you see those baby boars -how can Berliners not feel sympathy for them.
