Stonehenge was a 'neolithic rave venue'

Archaeologists have long argued over what the 5,000-year-old stone circle was made for, and now a British expert in acoustics and music technology says he has the answer:
A Neolithic rave venue to put your modern-day warehouses to shame.

Using a computer model of Stonehenge and a concrete replica to recreate the sounds of the space, Rupert Till of Huddersfield University claims the mysterious megaliths lent themselves to perfect acoustics to amplify a "repetitive trance rhythm."

He even goes so far as to suggest the rhythm played at the time rivaled the tempo of highly technical drum and bass tracks.

Imagine Fred Flintstone with glowsticks.
