    • Elli, see your point, and I don't think people will ever want there to be a cure for cancer. I mean common, theres the factor of overpopulation and how the economic situation is, I don't think the world can handel having more people. Sometimes its just nice to hope though.

    • I have a slight tea obsession and drink at least 3 cups a day, so I hope this article is right=)

I also think its why I was the only one out of my family to not come down with something this year.

    • "Researchers compared the lifestyles of 5,000 women with breast cancer to a similar number without the disease."

So the tea drinkers were less likely to have cancer? This doesn't pinpoint tea as the only factor. Perhaps people who take time to drink tea are more relaxed in their daily lives. Or perhaps people who drink tea that frequently are less likely to drink canned drinks or alcohol.

To say that "tea prevents cancer" is quite a reach.

    • Although I am inspired by the information. I am sad to see there is nothing for men with regard to preventing cancer. It is kind of like when you walk into a clothng store and you see the enormous women's section and the mens section is just a t-shirt with a sign that says MENS.

    • Sudan:

The men did get mentioned. "The results will be welcomed by the 41,000 women, and around 300 men, who are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year."

In light of those numbers, I'd say breast cancer is mostly a female issue. There are also studies about prostate cancer, if you're needing to feel special. :)
