CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Capitol City may soon get a lot quieter.

The Charleston City Council introduced a new noise ordinance Monday night to crack down on loud offenders.

In addition to muffling noises like illegal mufflers on cars and motorcycles, the new ordinance would also silence big trucks.
