Take action to plant trees for Earth Day

If you are searching for a quick and easy way to participate in doing something good for the planet, you can sign this petition at Tree Nation that I have going and plant a tree in Niger. For every 100 signatures gathered, Tree Nation is planting a tree in the heart of Niger as part of their 8 million tree program.

So far over 1300 people from all over the world including Iran, Iraq, Sweden, Mexico, France, Israel, the U.S., Canada, the UK, Bulgaria, Spain, etc. have signed this petition and pledged to be climate messengers to spread the word about sustainability and being a part of the solution.

I think this is a great way on Earth Day to contribute to a country that desperately needs trees to mitigate deforestation and bring life back to it. All it takes is just a signature and you could be part of planting a tree halfway around the world and watching it grow. This is truly the miracle of the Internet.

So please take time to go to the link and read the petition, and sign it to help plant life for Earth Day.

    • Great idea - everyone should plant trees - there is no downside to planting a tree
      The northern Michigan EarthKeepers are planting 12,000 (twelve thousand) trees across a 400 mile area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at 100 churches/temples and other locations.
      The interfaith EarthKeepers are made up of ten faith traditions.
