'Call of Life' Facing the Mass Extinction

This film was put together by the species alliance: and was a labor of love by a group of people who believes in how important it is to understand that we are in the midst of the 6th mass extinction. (I had the great pleasure of working with them before working with Current.)

Species Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed in 2005. Our mission is to raise public awareness of the impending mass extinction and the threat to Earth's life support systems due to this loss of biodiversity. Through our films and other media, website, and outreach, we seek to ignite a new sense of community empowerment and purpose, in order to stimulate creative and effective changes in public policies and human behavior that will assure a healthy future for all life on Earth.

    • Human Beings...certainly not facing extinction...Kind... Caring...Compassionate ones maybe...this picture is of a Coconut Crab...I could not kill it...or eat it...it is far too amazing....I only eat ugly things...guess I should become a Cannibal...I would never go hungry....Golden Ruler...except on Earth Day...Will..

    • Looks like the call to wake up and realize what is happening all around us. And what a perfect time to do just that. I truly believe that if everyone actually knew just what kind of effect their actions were having on our planet, the world would, at once, shift their way of thinking and immediately change their behavior to a more conscious level.
