And my apologies for crying a bit in this, but this is an important issue and like the climate crisis is one we can no longer ignore and be silent about. I think some emotion including anger is definitely in order as ours and our children's ability to live on this planet sustainably is in the balance. And that is not an overstatement. Remember, those who own the seeds and the water, own you.
So please if you can, check out the entries for today being featured, (especially if you've never seen them before) become aware, work to take action to hold politicians accountable for labelling our food, and fight for the healthy sustainable agriculture this country and our world deserves and needs to meet the challenges of the future in a world full of biodiversity.
Thank you.

One other thing.....
Last week at my sisters, she was trying to devise a fly jar to catch those pesky flies and by accident discovered something else.
She took a gallon glass jar, punched a few small holes inside the lid and placed a piece of raw bacon inside the jar. Two days later, she complained that she wasn't getting any flies, but somehow (she was very surprised) there were worms crawling inside the jar.
I told her, no surprise, those worms came from the bacon. That is our factory farm food today!

I know I am a little late with a comment/vote, but I am away from my Internet connection for a few weeks, and I am using one at a location about 30 miles from where I am at the moment.
JanforGore, thanks for all you do, and thank you for showing the emotion. I feel the same way. I so want to inform people of our perilous food supply.
It would be so simple to boycott Monsanto, I am doing it and my lifestyle is not being affected at all. If only consumers could understand this......
Thanks!!!!!!

Jan, tears are a good way to make peoples ears perk up. I know you didn't do it intentionally, because you are such a caring person, but I think it is cool that you are so raw and real with your emotions.
Thanks for continuing to be a champion for this cause. I stand behind you 100%.

No it wasn't intentional and I was going to do it over again but then decided to post it because we need to see more anger and emotion regarding this. I truly do feel like this is all surreal. How they could all be in collusion like this to totally control everything we need to survive and people still on the whole do not know about it. And to think that a farmer would be so devastated with the loss of his crops and feel such despair because he knew that he could not climb out of the debt caused by buying Monsanto's products that he goes into his field and drinks down a bottle or Round Up to kill himself has to bring some sort of emotion to anyone with a conscience. After the Agent Orange, the dioxin, the PCBS, the aspartame, the GMOs, well, I truly have had enough of them.

Yes, Some parts of our Media are only concerned in entertain and not much in exposing the truth or resolve what is wrong. The sad fact is that it is a part of the Public that drives this madness by denying and covering up.
It is the young insensitive "America" that wants fun, comedy and entertainment and they are not much concerned with what is wrong or the abuse imposed from those that are in power upon the innocent. Since the Media is ran by the corp powerful through the ads from industry and commerce, to survive, they opt to cash in and capitalize in the wishes and desires of their audience. The audience wants to be entertained and deceived. The ads and the Media gives just what they want, if not they just daily impose on them. That has been a vicious cycle of denial, coverup, death, crime, human rights violation. What causes this Media social chaos? Lack of Education, Lack of compassion, lack of care for others and the environment. In the mean time the criminals thrive. Very few are caught, very little changes. There is no pressure in accountability. Crime prevails!Ps: But keep the faith! Not everyone from the Media, the Public or from some Industries and Commerce are into this madness.

Jan, thank YOU very much!
not sure if you have posted this ten minute piece from the "Corporation", but thought it appropriate....
"Journalists Jane Akre and Steve Wilson were fired by the Fox News television station they work for after refusing to change their investigative report on Posilac, a Bovine Growth Hormone (BGH) made by Monsanto. Their research documents potential health and safety problems of drinking milk treated with the synthetic hormone, but threatened with legal action from Monsanto, Fox wants the negative effects played down. The court eventually throws out Akre's whistle blower lawsuit after deciding that the media is allowed to lie."
