Green Community Member Shout Out

A few weeks ago I asked you how you wanted to see community members featured on Current Green. You told me you wouldn't mind hearing about a few new people each week. (I admit: I miss the in depth questions since it was fun to get to know people from their perspective.)

So tell me: do you like this format? Want more? Less? Have recommendations for people you want to see featured? You know what to do!

      Hi Leah,

      A while back you where lamenting the predominant interest into boobs and babes over the environment. I wanted to use fact that in a positive way so I collect posts on hot/sexy woman that are doing things for the environment or against climate change, either serious or fun. Would you like to post on the site or do a shout out? What would you suggest I do to promote the site?

      I do a lot in alternative energy promotion, with limited time, mainly solar thermal and algae/seaweed, but also LED. More at http://www.rincker.nl I can use some help! ;-)

    • I would have to say Current89 or DeliaTheArtist. 89 makes great posts about the politics behind green while Delia submits news about the science behind the green (fittingly). It might not be fair, though, since they were both picked for the featured community member interview a while back.

    • a+++! I love my currentworld...and currentizers. PS: u heard it here....a group of my friends are joining me in launching a comedy channel/series here...and on youtube. Are current & youtube on good terms? Cooperative? I hope so...I belong to 8 online places (myspace, facebook, Digg, current, Youtube, etc.) They all seem to be a part of the movement towards competitive business w/ethics, morals & integrity. When I read the newspapers, mags & online news..it can be depressing - yet when I return here & see what my friends/the members do with the news...I an back to being optimistic about the world my daughter's inheriting. Thanks everyone! PSS...the zeitgeist / Venus Project group is an interesting place for deep thoughts; a heads up is if you watch zeitgeist the movie (www.zeigeistmovie.com) be sure you watch the second movie The Addendum before you jump off that ledge ;~)
